Our client, a big name in the forestry industry is looking to hire Silviculture Supervisor for their Mackenzie location.  

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Silviculture Superintendent, the job will entail managing contractors and doing some camp work.

– Cut block planning and screening for logging operations

– Sourcing and procurement of seedlings from nurseries

– Preparation of contracts

– Manager safety and environmental issues

– Completing updates on the GIS.

REQUIREMENTS

– Must be willing to work and live in Mackenzie

– Relevant previous experience in a silviculture role

– Love for the outdoors and camp work
