Location: Gold Bridge BC with adjoining forests.
Languages: Basic English, ability to understand verbal commands.
Education: Experience or Training Certificate in Forestry/Arboriculture.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) 
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate;
First Aid Certificate;
 Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
 *will train the successful applicant if necessary
 Experience 
1 year to less than 3 years / Education can substitute for Experience
 Equipment and Machinery Experience: 
 Log processor; Shortwood harvester; Chain-saw operation
 Additional Skills: Clean up landing areas at logging sites; 
 Assist other logging and forestry workers.
 Own Tools/Equipment: 
 Safety equipment/gear;
 Steel-toed safety boots; 
 Hard hat;
 Safety glasses/goggles;
 Gloves; 
 Ear plugs 
 Work Site 
 Environment: Outdoors 
 Transportation/Travel Information Willing to travel; Valid driver's licence

Work Location Information:

 Mechanical Harvester and Forwarder Operators 
 Specific Skills: 
 Assess site and terrain and manage equipment to perform a combination of felling, slashing, bucking, bunching and forwarding operations
 Operate a variety of machines which perform a combination of slashing, bucking, chipping, sorting and loading logs or trees.
 Nota Bene: Position is for five months. 3 positions, including one worker to be Team Lead. 
 Domestic or Overseas experience in tree harvesting, agriculture, civil engineering welcome.
