Silver Creek Premium Products Ltd is hiring 5 full-time Sawmill Workers in Mission, BC.

Silver Creek Premium Products Ltd is a shake and shingle mill located in Mission, BC along the beautiful Fraser River.  We have been in operation for over 25 years and over the years we have taken great pride in being energy efficient.  Currently we are world renown for using the most technologically advanced equipment.  Along with great technology we take great pride in ensuring our customers receive great service and on time products.  Due to these commitments, we need to add to our current sawmill worker staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Terms of employment: Full-time - Permanent; Year- round work
Wages:  $22.50 per hour
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

JOB DUTIES:

• Sort, pile and transport lumber and similar wood products during various stages of wood processing, manually or with powered equipment
• Clean and remove any scrap lumber manually or with powered equipment to always ensure a safe working environment for the other staff and yourself
• Feed conveyors, saws and other equipment to process lumber and shingles
• Clean wood processing machines and equipment and work areas
• Assist other wood processing workers to operate, maintain and repair various machines and equipment and carry out other wood processing activities as requested by the sawmill supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School
• Language: English
• Ability to work in fast paced environment which may be physically demanding
• Ability to bend crouch, stand and kneel repetitively for long extended periods
• Heavy lifting may be required
• No experience required, we will train

Compensation

$22.50/Hourly
