Red Seal Welder – Manufacturing experience

This full-time, permanent career opportunity is for a Red Seal Welder experienced in a manufacturing environment.  As the ideal candidate, you are also mechanically inclined and have worked alongside Journeyman Millwrights, to get the job done.  The position is based in Slave Lake, Alberta, relocation is required and assistance is being offered.

  • Are a Red Seal Welder, mechanically inclined, who thrives in a busy and fast paced manufacturing environment.  (forestry experience, is ideal)
  • Are experienced with a wide variety of fabrication and/or repair of metal components and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment (gas, arc-air, MIG, TIG and electrode experience is required)
  • Are experienced with preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance

You…

  • Are authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
  • Have 2 or more years’ experience and your Interprovincial Red Seal Welder certification (Must provide a copy)
  • Have welding experience using gas, arc-air, MIG, TIG and electrode
  • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • You have a proactive approach to continually look for improvement opportunities within the operation
  • Are proficient in the English language (oral and written)
