WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Purchaser is responsible for acquiring goods, services and supplies for the Mackenzie, taking responsibility for the plant’s materials and operating supplies inventory level and accuracy. You would ensure the efficient flow of materials and services required, including supplier selection, contractual arrangements, sourcing, cost analysis, inventory reduction initiatives and day to day order placement for materials and services. Integrity, trust and interpersonal savvy are essential for success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years’ purchasing experience or equivalent;
• Purchasing designation or on your mind;
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills;
• Problem-solving with strong decision-making capability;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and an ERP system.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary: $60,000-$75,000, and bonus
• Comprehensive benefits package, including paid MSP
• RRSP matching up to 7%
• Relocation package
