Millwrights – Forestry (OSB) – Peace River area, BC – $45.65/hr and great benefits

Our client is a large player in the OSB industry with multiple plants in Canada.  They currently have an opening for several millwrights (aka Industrial Mechanics) at their location in the Peace River area of BC.  There are a couple of shift options and the pay is solid at $45.65/hr (more than $95,000 before overtime) with really good benefits.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in one of the forestry industries (pulp & paper, OSB, Sawmill, Pellet Plants, etc) but similar heavy industry like mining would be considered.  They don’t want job hoppers or contractors who are waiting for oil and gas to pick up again. Rather they are looking for people interested in relocating and staying as part of their work team and community.  You must have a valid red-seal journeyman ticket to be considered.
