Logging Foreman (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

Wilson Bros Enterprises is a well established logging company in Houston, BC. We are looking for a “Logging Foreman” to help manage and direct our crews. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that Safety, Quality, Costs, and Production targets are met.

Things to note:

• If you don’t like paperwork, then this job is not for you. 
•  The applicant should have a history of either managing or supervising workers, operating or repairing equipment, or some combination thereof. 
•  A background or training as an RPF, Forest-Tech, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Safety Officer would be an asset, though not necessary. 
• Applicants must have a valid Class 5 drivers license, and a Class 1 would be a bonus. 
• A budget of $160,000/year has been accrued for this position. 
• Remuneration will be very competitive but dependent on the applicant’s training, abilities and experience. 
• A benefits and pension plan is available 
• This is a camp job on a 5-days-in & 2-days-out shift. 
• The successful applicant will be awarded the Manager’s Suite in camp. 
• The camp is comfortable, clean, warm in the winter, and air conditioned in the summer. 
• The camp has satellite tv in each room, cell service, and has great food and friendly staff. 
•  The successful applicant should consider relocating to the Houston area, though this is not a deal breaker.
