DESCRIPTION 

The Systems Administrator role is responsible for the upkeep, configuration and future expansion/upgrading of all servers, workstations, networking equipment, PBX phones and general technology in a 50 user Microsoft environment. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintenance and end-user training for both mainstream and custom software.

PRIMARY ROLE 

·        Server maintenance and support in a VM Environment

·        Multi-Server Microsoft environment support (MS Server/Exchange/Windows)

·        Network maintenance and support in a 50 user environment

·        PBX phone system maintenance and support

·        Software installation and support for a variety of applications

·        Workstation maintenance and support

·        End User training and support 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

·        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·        Good logical thinking and trouble shooting skills

·        Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Exchange

·        Experience with firewalls, preferably Watchguard

·        Experience with a VM environment, specifically VMWare/VEEAM

·        Experience with offsite backups and cloud repositories

·        Experience with Windows/Office support

·        Understanding of server hardware and maintenance

·        Experience with PBX environments
