JOB DESCRIPTION

The Electrical Supervisor position will have the opportunity to move upwards into the Electrical Maintenance Manager role.  Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, the Electrical supervisor will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Supervise and support the electrical maintenance team (10 members) and occasionally leading other tradesman when needed (30 members)
  • Be a coach and mentor for the team, helping them develop and strengthen their skills  
  • Enhancing and implementing new preventative maintenance processes to limit downtime
  • Generate and revise standard operations and safety procedures
  • Control system problem solving  
  • Scheduling the team accordingly for optimal plant efficiency  
  • Communicating with all departments to ensure all supervisors and employees are aware of plant needs and changes  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a  certified Red-Seal Electrician
  • 5+ years experience in the industrial electrical field  (Those with experience in the forestry industry will be prioritized in the review process)
  • 5+ years of Supervisor/Managerial experience  
  • Proven ability to coach and lead a team, strong focus on developing technical skills  
  • Proficient in wiring/programming PLCs of various brands
  • Ability to understand and create logic and flow diagrams  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary: $90,000-$98,000  depending on experience
  • Yearly salary review with additional  5-8% yearly bonus  
  • 19 days  of paid vacation time

Compensation
