Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and supportive team player for the role of Administrative Assistant
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m at our Edmonton office location in Edmonton, Alberta. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform confidential administrative work under direction of the senior leadership team.
- Obtain information from internal and external contacts and compile data for various reports.
- Prepare written communications in both English and Japanese languages.
- Prepare written transcripts from notes and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate schedules and arrange detailed travel itineraries.
- Manage e-mail and calendars.
- Coordinate events (meetings, luncheons, etc.).
- Maintain confidential subject files.
- Manage daily office activities and requirements.
- Periodic travel to the millsite office location for coverage or meetings as required.
- Flexible work schedule occasionally required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent communicators in both English and Japanese languages.
- Post-Secondary administrative degree or diploma, plus five years related experience.

- Proficient experience in minute-taking.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
