Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac)  is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and supportive team player for the role of  Administrative Assistant 

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m at our Edmonton office location in Edmonton, Alberta. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform confidential administrative work under direction of the senior leadership team.
  • Obtain information from internal and external contacts and compile data for various reports.
  • Prepare written communications in both English and Japanese languages.
  • Prepare written transcripts from notes and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate schedules and arrange detailed travel itineraries.
  • Manage e-mail and calendars.
  • Coordinate events (meetings, luncheons, etc.).
  • Maintain confidential subject files.
  • Manage daily office activities and requirements.
  • Periodic travel to the millsite office location for coverage or meetings as required.
  • Flexible work schedule occasionally required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent communicators in both English and Japanese languages.
  • Post-Secondary administrative degree or diploma, plus five years related experience.

  • Proficient experience in minute-taking.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
