We are currently seeking a fully experienced Woods Foreman for our Port McNeill Forest Operation, located in Port McNeill, BC. The Port McNeill Forest Operation harvests approximately 600,000 m³ annually.
The Role
Reporting to the General Foreman, the Woods Foreman will be responsible for leading company logging crews and ensuring that the highest standards of safety, production, and environmental protection are maintained.
- The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who recognizes the value of a team-orientated approach in the performance of this challenging position.
- They will have an excellent safety record and a good working knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
- They will be committed and driven to help Western Forest Products achieve their safety and production objectives.
- They will have firsthand knowledge of working in a unionized environment, with strong leadership and communications skills.
- Supervisory experience leading logging crews and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is an asset.
