In operation for over twenty years, Pinnacle is the longest established pellet producer in Canada. Located in the heart of the lumber industry in central BC, Pinnacle has access to excellent and abundant sources of raw materials. Pinnacle produces a variety of products including softwood pellet fuel, animal bedding and natural sorbent. Today, the company operates 6 pellet plants across BC producing millions of tons annually.
As a rapidly expanding company, we are looking for the right candidates to join our team at the Armstrong plant in the Utility Operator position.
This position will be temporary full time.
The Utility Operator is responsible for performing a variety of construction, repair, installation and maintenance activities that support Pinnacle’s pellet production systems. The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and tools related to maintenance and rail activities as well as performing related duties as:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in heavy industry operations an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Valid Driver’s license
