| Job Duties: |
Working with major electric utility system forestry needs, inspect the utility right-of-way for required tree and brush control work, inspect utility poles & structures for hazard conditions, and provide info to line clearance crews. Document work using hand-held computer; Notify property owners of pending work on their property; Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; tree removal, and Special projects as assigned.

| Qualifications: |
Two or Four year degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture or related discipline; Ability to identify local tree species and knowledge of growth rates; ability to obtain ISA Certified Arborist within 18 months of employment. Excellent communication skills; Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather; Working knowledge of computers; Ability to read and follow maps; Ability to work independently; Ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle. Utility Right-of-Way Vegetation experience preferred. Electric utility experience a major plus. Specific task training provided. Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority. Candidates must be able to achieve ISA certification within 18 months of employment. |
Compensation
Full time hourly positions. Pay Rates based on qualifications and experience.
