JOB DUTIES:

DESCRIPTION & DUTIES:
Be the point of contact between Davey management and Client. Weekly reporting and accurate review of Team Members’ time sheets. Manage production while meeting Davey and Client’s production expectations. Monitor equipment maintenance. Evaluate and document urban forest data located near utilities including location, species, health, risk, and rate of growth using Davey GIS-based Work Planning Software. Design and coordinate vegetation management plans to ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications, customer requests, and to facilitate construction projects.
Communicate vegetation management plans with local residents, municipalities, contractors, government agencies. Participation in coordinating Storm Restoration work overtime required during large events. Work is performed in both urban and rural areas that may have inclement weather, rough terrain and dense vegetation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Two or Four year degree REQUIRED in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Horticulture or related field.
-Proficiency with local Tree Identification and Tree Physiology.
-ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain in 6-12 months.
-Quality Teamwork and Communication skills.
-Current Driver’s License and Driving Record in good standing.
-Proficient working knowledge of computers. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint.
-Desire to Work Outdoors.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Professional or Collegiate Practical Tree Work Experience (including Collegiate Climbing Classes, Forestry Club Operations, Production Climber, Groundsman, or Lift Operator, etc).
-Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License.
-Proven success working independently, illustrating time management and organizational skills
