The role of the Timber Marketing Manager is to work collaboratively with the Resource Unit Team to achieve financial goals and desired outcomes through timber sale activities. This position will achieve market excellence through development of strategic customer relationships/partnerships and understanding the value chain through collection of market intelligence.
Responsibilities include harvest schedule management, timber sale design, preparation and execution, development of a marketing plan that maximizes timber revenues, and tracking of timber sales for the Resource Unit. Also responsible for SFI compliance and developing new markets.
