Catalyst is seeking a technical or operations leader who is familiar with mechanical printing papers. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide seasoned leadership to support both the mill's technical and operations streams as well as oversee stock prep and bleaching operations.

As Technical Services Manager, you will:

  • manage the quality assurance (QA) processes for paper and mechanical pulp manufacturing
  • provide and manage process engineering services to mill operations groups
  • manage the processes for identifying, prioritizing and resolving manufacturing process issues.

Self-motivated and pro-active, you are equipped with experience and expertise that include:

  • a relevant and recognized engineering degree
  • a minimum of 5 to 7 years of related work experience
  • excellent investigative, organization and communication skills
  • ability to balance multiple priorities.
