The woodlands division of the KDL Group manages a range of forest licenses within the Fort St. James and Mackenzie Forest Districts and is seeking individuals to strengthen our team.
The KDL Group woodlands division is currently looking for a full time Silviculture Coordinator based in Fort St. James. The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising silviculture programs, supervision of silviculture contractors, silviculture data management, producing silviculture plans and prescriptions and other forestry-related duties as required.
The successful applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of forestry experience and a Forest Technician Diploma or a Resource Management Diploma or Degree. The applicant must be able to demonstrate competencies in Interior silviculture practices and process, database management, budgeting and government reporting. Accreditation as a silviculture surveyor is an asset. In addition, the successful candidate must operate with professional independence and strong communication skills.
