The successful candidate will report to the Power & Recovery manager. Responsibilities will include supervision of a shift crew, and equipment operation, coordinating with pulp mill personnel for efficient operation.

You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Identify priorities and opportunities for shutdown works;
  • Organize the area and crew training and utilize your expertise to update and revise the training materials;
  • Update and initiate reliable methods;
  • Supervise and schedule a crew;
  • Submit work notifications  for equipment repair;
  • Verify environmental and regulatory compliance of the area equipment;
  • Act as the head of the Technical Committee for your area of responsibility;

Position Requirements 

In addition to an Inter-provincial Second Class Power Engineering certificate, you must have:          

  • Proven track record of success in a supervisory capacity and safety performance;
  • Dynamic, resourceful and are known for your sense of initiative;
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Have keen analytical skills and pay close attention to detail;
  • Ability to problem solve in a group/team environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to track and measure performance; 
  • Excellent English oral/written/communication skills;

Education Required: Technical Diploma

Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years
