The following full time positions are available immediately:
Senior Layout Engineers/Technicians/Timber Cruisers
$5700 to $6840/month plus bonus
Successful candidates will be responsible for timber reconnaissance, forest road and block engineering, and other related field duties and/or timber cruising. This position could include SP data collection. Successful candidates will have a minimum 2 years of experience in road and block layout and/or timber cruising. Timber Cruisers will have experience operational timber cruising in the interior of BC. Preference will be given to those who possess a technical diploma or degree in forestry or related discipline.
Depending on experience, qualifications and proven abilities the wage range is $25 to $30/hour with benefit package, paid travel time, overtime and a production-based bonus system.
Junior Forest Technicians
$4104 to $5700/month plus bonus
Successful candidates will be responsible for compassing with a timber cruiser, GPS traversing, assisting with forest road and block engineering, and other related field duties. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in these tasks.
Depending on experience, qualifications and proven abilities the wage range is $18 to $25/ hour with benefit package, paid travel time, overtime and a production-based bonus system.
