We have a number of rewarding seasonal positions in Fort St. James and Mackenzie, from May till the end of August 2016 with the possibility of extension and/or renewal (2017 summer season), available now:

Forestry Field Assistant – Planning 

In this role you will be assisting the planning team in developing standing timber inventory. This involves timber quality/quantity assessments and preliminary assessments of: riparian features, road locations, topography features, site plan data collection and any other resource features noted in the area.

Forestry Field Assistant – Silviculture

In this role you will be assisting the silviculture team with the implementation and supervision of planting and brushing contracts; participating in manual brushing layout, post-harvest, and forest health assessments; and field data collection and management.

  • A valid driver's licence,
  • Preference will be given to those enrolled in, or graduates of, a forestry or natural resource program.
