JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position reports directly into the plant manager, and helps administer the long range and medium range goals of the business. They oversee the production staff and supervisors, work with capital and safety improvement initiatives, assist with the budgeting and production planning and ensure the mill is in its best operating form.
Decisions regarding staffing levels and assignments will also fall under the scope of responsibility

REQUIREMENTS:
• 10 Years in a sawmill Supervisory role
• Extensive manufacturing and production leadership experience
• Technical knowledge of the forest products industry
• An outstanding safety track record
• Experience with continuous improvement and capital projects
• Ability to relocate to Central BC
