Our Client located in Fort St. John, British Columbia has asked us to assist them in their search for a Sawmill Superintendent.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of performance management and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience in wood products manufacturing at the supervisory or superintendent level.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and team building skills.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of optimization equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership in the sawmill and will work closely with other department heads to ensure efficient and effective divisional operations.
- Optimize the safety and production performance of the operation.
- Develop cost control programs in conjunction with Division business plans and managing area spend.
