Our client is a large, diversified and integrated forest products company which stands as the global leader in sustainable forest management practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible the safe maintenance and repair of all sawfiling equipment as well as maximize uptime, quality and production.
Located at the foothills of the pristine Rocky Mountains in Northeastern BC, is Chetwynd, a member of the Peace River Regional District. While the 64 square-kilometer area is considered a town, there is no shortage of modern amenities and then-some for things to do while not hard at work; golfing, hockey, skating, curling, softball, baseball, indoor rock climbing, squash/racquetball/wallyball court, leisure pool, not to mention a nature enthusiast’s playground with ample opportunity for camping, hiking and fishing in one of many rivers and crystal-clear lakes.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Wage: $34.16 per hour
Shifts: Shift work required.

Experience: Experience in an industrial setting preferred and knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset.
Education: Must be a certified tradesperson.
