Quality Control within the timber industry!!

Quality Controller for brand new timber production facility.

Wood Sciences Degree and/or relevent Technical /Engineering qualification.

 

Skills Required:

Knowledge

• ISO Compliance

• OHS Act

• Advanced levels of computer literacy in the MS Office suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prepare accurate reports and present such to various levels of the respective business units

Functions

To implement, coordinate and control the Optimising Drymills Quality Control System by performing inspections, testing and checks. The incumbent will further adhere to approved standards, specifications and tolerances when sampling incoming and outgoing materials, parts and components. To also ensure that all finished products are produced within accepted quality standards before compiling a Quality Assurance certificate. Highlight and emphasise quality failures and shortcomings with relevant stakeholders.

Min Requirements/Qualifications:

5-8 years’ experience in industrialised production management would be advantageous
