PROCESS ENGINEER
The Process Engineer will work with our Technical and Operating departments to maintain and improve process efficiency.
Specific duties include:
- Cost control;
- Process troubleshooting;
- Project evaluation;
- Feasibility studies;
- Liaison with all mill departments;
- Coordination with consultants and contractors;
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a chemical engineer, registered (or qualified to be registered) with APEGBC as a P. Eng. or E.I.T. with several years of pulp and paper or related experience. Strong interpersonal and self-management skills are required, plus the ability to work either independently or as a team member. This position has advancement potential in the mill Technical and Operations departments.
