The Woodland’s Team at our Chetwynd Forest Industries Division has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, professional to fill the role of Planning Forester. 

PLANNING FORESTER

Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the Planning Forester will work with a team of professionals responsible for all timber development activities.  You duties may 
include timber reconnaissance and development, operational planning, permit acquisition, government and First Nations liaison, and contract administration and supervision.  Our Planning Foresters enjoy a balanced mix of field and office work, while being home every night. 

The ideal candidate for this position will be registered with the ABCFP as an RPF, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.  Candidates with lesser experience or qualifications may be considered for this position or other positions within our Woodlands Team.
