TPT Group Limited (TPT) is one of the Pacific Rim’s leading exporters providing a unique channel to market. TPT specialises in all aspects of log and lumber sales, marketing, shipping, port operations, supply chain planning and financial management; and has a unique business model and culture extending from its Mt Maunganui Head Office abroad to Australia, USA, China, South Korea and India. 

As a result of continued growth, TPT is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the team and take responsibility for the performance of TPT’s Australian operations. 

Fundamental responsibilities for this role include;

  • Managing key stakeholder relationships in particular the TPT client interface
  • Operational sales, supply, port operations and vessel planning and the coordination of such with head office in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand
  • Coordinating and managing the performance of log marshalling, stevedoring and bio-security operations and quality control throughout TPT’s Australian operations, with all aspects of environmental, health and safety obligations meeting or exceeding industry standards
  • Identifying growth, process improvement, and opportunity to add value to clients export programs
  • Key Skills & Attributes Required for this Role:
  • Previous Health & Safety management experience (ideally Level 2+)
  • Previous Industry experience and tertiary education considered; Forestry, Logistics, Manufacturing or Processing, Warehousing and Transport
  • Professionalism, integrity, determination and a positive outlook
  • Proven interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • To be a self-starter while having the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timelines
  • Proficient in the improvement of systems and processes

You will need to be flexible to travel throughout Australia and abroad and work out of hours to meet the demands of the role. New Zealand candidates will be considered if flexible to travel ~50% of your time between Australia and NZ.
