Seven Islands Land Company is seeking to immediately fill a full-time operations forester position based out of our St. John Unit.
Seven Islands Land Company is a land management organization with oversight of approximately 820,000 acres of timberland in the northern and western regions of Maine. We are seeking an independent, self-determined individual looking for a challenge and an opportunity to use their forestry skills in this region of Maine’s forestlands.
The candidate should have a minimum of a four-year (BS) degree in forest management or a related field. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a “can-do” attitude as well as a high level of self-motivation, comfort and competence in working in the forests ofnorthern Maine.
Candidate should also be comfortable working in an independent or supervised environment and will have demonstrated a high degree of attention to detail and quality.
Experience is preferred.
This position will be based out of either our Ashland West District camp located in T9R13 and/or the St. Pamphile Camp located in T15R15.
This is a four day per week (three nights, Monday – Thursday) position.
