Job Description
Join a team of individuals in the maintenance team. This position is responsible for a variety of duties within the mill including:
- Assemble, install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot process-related equipment
- Maintain records of completed tasks and corrective action
- Utilize knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Millwright certification of qualification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license
- Forestry industry experience preferred but not required
- WHMIS and First Aid Training would be an asset
- A commitment to working in a safe, environmentally responsible way
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $33-$36 plus excellent benefits package. Overtime opportunities may be available. Relocation package will be provided.
