Full Time

  Impact Recruitment Inc.

  Central BC, British Columbia, Canada

Top notch millwright jobs. Strong wage, good OT. No Fly in Fly out or Camp, but covered moving expenses, and in some cases major housing incentives. Stable work, with tons of variety in the equipment. Companies looking to move people up from within. Just good, strong millwright jobs. Apply.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITES:

Our clients are looking for leaders, so they’re grooming people from within to take on supervisory roles. They also provide extensive training for people who want to specialize. If you’re wanting a career instead of hopping job to job hoping eventually to get that supervisor break, take steps to get there instead.

COMPANY PROFILE:

We have 3 different clients, all with 30+ years of history. One of them puts community first and foremost, going the extra distance to ensure that the job is as strong as the community it’s in. The next has a newly updated and cutting edge mill, and are building up a team to maintain it- lots of mentorship and opportunity to put your own stamp on the operation. The last group is an industry leader with more locations and room to advance than you could take advantage of in a lifetime.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is as a full time in house maintenance millwright. You’ll be chasing whistles, doing PMs, and if you excel at it, branching off into predictive and reliability maintenance fields. Hands-on roles with the chance to advance into the leadership track for those with the desire and aptitude. But if you’re the person for the job, you’re already a Red Seal Millwright, and you know what a millwright does already.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Red Seal as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright
  • 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial maintenance
  • Sawmill experience preferred, mining and manufacturing are also assets
  • Ready to make a move for a great job

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The roles pay $38.50-39 hourly, and are with companies who regularly increase pay grids. The roles also include full benefits, full assistance with moving, retirement contributions, advancement potential, in some cases housing incentives, and getting to live in some of BC’s amazing mountain communities.
