MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor provides supervisory, administrative, problem solving and decision-making
leadership relating to the day-to-day and preventative maintenance of all mechanical equipment at the mill site. The Maintenance Supervisor works in collaboration with the Maintenance Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent and Production Coordinator, and directs daily the Maintenance Planner and approx. 25 trades people, ensuring all production and maintenance objectives are met.
The ideal candidate will hold a trades T.Q. or equivalent. Experience in leading a team of employees in the maintenance of heavy machinery either in a pulp mill or a similar industrial setting would be an asset. You will be responsible for system optimization and continuous improvement and possess excellent supervisory skills which include organizing work, allocating resources, contingency planning and problem solving. Experience with reliability programs would be an asset.
