Our client, a leading forestry player operating in multiple locations throughout North America, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have magnificent management skills to efficiently handle the planning and upkeep of its facility as well as the passion and technical know-how to increase productivity. 

Job Description:

• Manage and coordinate maintenance and operations team in upholding business objectives promoting safety, production and cost efficiencies
• Standardize and implement work quality standards throughout the facility
• Assists the Maintenance Planner with timely scheduling of plant activities
• Contribution in the organization’s yearly planning
• Maintain safety standards  and conduct relevant training within the plant site

The company will expect from you:

• 5+ years relevant experience as a Supervisor in the industry
• Proven leadership in employee management and team building
• Problem-solving skills for optimum operational efficiency
• Strong commitment to upholding safety

Compensation

In return you can expect:

$85-92k base plus bonus, pension and benefits depending on years of experience.
