Maintenance Supervisor (Maintenance & Trades)

Western Forest Products Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Mid Vancouver Island operation. This position will be based at our Maintenance Shop, approximately 20 minutes north of Campbell River, BC.

The Role

Reporting to the Master Mechanic, you are a highly-motivated individual, mechanically-inclined and excited about the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to be a successful Master Mechanic.  You are an experienced mechanical professional or a ticketed heavy-duty mechanic, familiar with the coastal forest industry. You appreciate the need for timely repairs and quick turnaround of mobile equipment.

Amongst your peers, you are considered to be a good leader, with tremendous communication skills and appreciation of the value of a team-oriented approach in the face of challenging situations. At a minimum, you have soundly developed the following skills:
