Bring your excellent leadership ability and outstanding planning and implementation skills to join our Mackenzie Power Plant team as our Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for providing strong leadership in planning plant maintenance activities to achieve the plant reliability targets in a safe and cost effective manner.
Main focus areas for this position are:
Planning project needs for major turnarounds, scheduling and coordinating activities for preventative maintenance of all plant assets and collaborating with the Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance staff and contractors assigned to the designated projects.
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Background in Maintenance Planning in power generation, pulp/paper or equivalent.
- Ability to develop and implement an effective maintenance program.
- Proven ability to work within and provide leadership with a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
- High comfort level with computers and divisional software programs.
