Logistic Supervisor (Management & Executives)

Western Coast Resources Inc is an exporter of lumber and log products in Vancouver, BC.  We are looking for a detail-oriented logistic supervisor. The successful candidate will have years working experience in exporting with proficient knowledge of export procedures and rules. 

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: Richmond, BC

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree

The ideal candidate would have following qualities and experiences:

• A business-like demeanor with a professional and positive attitude
• Comfortable working with a wide range of internal and external counterparts
• Organized and able to prioritize and work with multiple deadlines
• Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure
• Mandarin speaking is required

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, assign and review the work of clerks of the shipping/export department
• Coordinate ocean freight and shipments to oversea customers
• Complete and review all shipping documents carefully
• Prepare and/or process export declarations
• Prepare and/or send advance notifications of shipment or other documents to banks, or consignees ,as required
• Negotiate Letter of Credit for payment 

Experience:
Minimum Two years of experience in the field is required
