Fall River Logging is currently seeking an individual for the position of: Logging Supervisor.

Based in Courtenay, British Columbia.

The Fall River Logging is a premier provider of full phase stump to dump services on Vancouver Island. We are currently seeking candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in the management of Logging and Road Building Operations. You will join an exciting team at an exciting time in the Forest Industry.

Successful Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

·        Proven experience in the Logging and Road Construction  business; Cable logging and hand-falling experience will be considered an asset,

·        Ability to successfully Lead a Team,

·        Ability to problem solve and manage project phases,

·        Must have good communications skills,

·        Be professional and accountable,

·        General computer skills with email, Excel and Word,

·        Strong work ethic and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Ensure customer requirements are met with regard to safety, quality control, and environment,

·        Ensure production targets are met,

·        Ensure operations are conducted to Company’s standards,

·        Equipment and human resource allocation and dispatch; supervise or coordinate the activities of workers engaged in logging and road building phases to ensure smooth transitions between phases.

·        Training, scheduling, motivating employees, and administering discipline where required,

·        Trouble shooting and problem solving,

·        Meetings (Safety, crew, production, management).
