The British Columbia subsidiary of a major international company has an immediate opening for a Log Buyer. Operating from offices in Greater Vancouver, the Log Buyer will be an important part of the company’s timber supply program for local manufacturing.
Candidates should have relevant post-secondary education in forestry at the diploma or degree level and a minimum of five years’ experience in woodlands related employment. Competent computer skills; a valid BC Log Scaling License; considerable timber cruising experience; and a Class 5 driver’s license are all important assets.
