Besse Forest Products Group is a leader in the production of North American Hardwood Veneers, Lumber, and Specialty Plywood.

We currently have an opening for a highly motivated individual located in the St. Louis area to purchase hardwood saw logs and veneer logs for our facilities in Wisconsin and Michigan.

The position requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in log buying;

ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers;

a self-starter with a proven ability to set and achieve goals;

and the ability to work independently.

Forestry Degree or equivalent in experience and training is required.

Compensation

Besse Forest Products Group, comprised of sawmills and veneer mills located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northern Wisconsin, offers an excellent benefit and compensation package.
