Sierra Pacific Industries, Anderson sawmill is seeking applicants for a lead saw filer for our saw filing room.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of filing experience in all aspects of saw filing: band saw, round saws, saw filing equipment and saw maintenance.

The candidate should possess good leadership qualities.

The major requirements of the job: oversee the day-to-day operations of the filing room, lead and direct a crew of saw filers for maximum efficiency and productivity, troubleshoot saw and machine problems, order parts and schedule machine maintenance, as well as work and communicate with the plant superintendent and sawmill supervisors.

The applicant must be safety minded and possess good communication skills, able to lift 50 lbs repetitively, work any shift, weekends, holiday and overtime and pass a drug screen.
