We are seeking Intermediate Field Engineers who are enthusiastic, hard-working people with a passion for working outdoors and living in a beautiful, community focused town to join our team of resource professionals and become involved in a variety of our projects in Coastal BC.
Qualifications:
» Post-secondary education from a recognized forestry school
» Registered or eligible for registration with the ABCFP (minimum of 2 years exp)
» Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis
» Navigation and map reading skills, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (including MS Office, RoadEng and ArcGIS)
» Knowledge of coastal harvest & silvicultural systems
» Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year round
» Knowledge of road and cutting permit preparation
» Experience working around trucks, ATV’s, boats, float planes & helicopters
