A strong leader and project manager? Here's an exciting opportunity to step into one of two newly created roles within Canfor's Forest Management Group (FMG) and make it truly your own. As a scaling, utilization and waste residue supervisor, you will oversee the scaling and waste programs for Canfor's BC and Alberta operations. This will involve delivering log quality assessments, developing a utilization and waste residue plan, budgeting, ensuring operational and environmental compliance and meeting performance targets—all while finding innovative ways to maximize efficiencies and cost savings.

You're a highly professional team player with a strong work ethic. Whether you have your BC scaling licence (preferred) or draw your experience from harvesting or field operations, your communication skills, proficiency with forestry software, strong knowledge of the BC Waste & Residue program and valid Class 5 driver's licence will be invaluable. A relevant degree/diploma plus over 3 years' related forestry experience would be a bonus. Canfor offers relocation assistance, competitive compensation and generous extended benefits—all in friendly communities with great quality of life.
