DWB Prince George Operations has an immediate opening for a Forestry Program Manager.
The position is considered full time.
As part of the Manager role, field work is required and expected and may involve camp shifts. Working with and mentoring field staff is an integral part of this position. The Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining existing, and developing new direct award company/client relationships through providing quality, timely and cost effective services.
Preference will be given to applicants that have a degree or diploma in Forestry and are registered with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years full-time forestry experience. In addition to being a team player, applicants must possess strong communication and management skills. Knowledge and experience in pre-harvest development, professional assessments, site plans, timber cruising, appraisals, cost estimating, and construction is required. Providing assistance to our Engineering and Environmental Departments may also be required.
