CN Utility Consulting, Inc. (CNUC) is currently seeking qualified, highly motivated individuals to join our work force in the Pomeroy, OH area. Nature of Duties:
1. Identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines.
2. Submit inspection results to utility clients with remediation recommendations.
3. Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned line-clearance crews.
4. Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
5. Serve as a liaison between clients, line clearance crews, and client customers.
Requirements:
1. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required
2. Two or four year degree in forestry or related fields is preferred
3. One or more years of field related experience
4. Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates
5. Ability to work independently
6. Strong verbal and written communications skills
7. Excellent customer service skills a priority
8. ISA Arborist Certification desirable (or ability to attain within one year)
9. Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather
10. Proficient in map navigation skills
11. Experience with Microsoft Office and data collection software (GIS experience a plus)
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and level of experience. A clothing allowance, smart phone, company vehicle and fuel card are provided. Full-time positions include participation in an ESOP program after 1 year of employment.
