Responsible for North Cascades Region land management programs and for facilitating the Division SFI program.
Location: Orting, WA
Scope:
• NW Division +/- 1,000,000 acres.
• North Cascades Region +/- 385,000 acres.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, contractors, and HFM and HTRG staff.
• Recreation access, easements, road use permits, minor forest products, biosolids, security, MFC client initiatives, and stewardship.
• Facilitate the implementation of the SFI program for the NW Division.
• Implement and adhere to risk management and safe work procedures.
• Reports to the North Cascades Regional Manager.
Specific Duties:
• Provide direction, oversight, and manage the recreation access, easements, road use permits,
minor forest products, biosolids, and security programs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of the MFC client Initiatives.
• Facilitate the implementation of SFI standards.
• Development of budgets and forecasts.
• Contract administration.
• Participant in the NW safety program.
• Support HNRG groups as needed.
• Special projects as requested or needed.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Forest Management or closely related field.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft computer software, emphasis in Excel, Access, and Word.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, team player.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
