Forester Position

Templin Forestry, Inc. has an immediate opening for a forester with strong work ethic and an analytical mind. The job will entail a wide variety of forest management activities and will involve both fieldwork and office work.

The forester will utilize GIS, GPS, T-Cruise, as well as MS Word, Excel and Access. Having a working knowledge with these software programs is necessary. He/she will be responsible for various projects including timber sale administration, timber inventory, reforestation, writing forest management plans, and analyzing various data relating to valuations and management options.

The job is a salaried position with health care and retirement program available. Pay is based on education, skills and experience. BS in natural resources required, MS or MBA preferred. Three years’ experience minimum.
