We are growing and have added a new district. We are seeking qualified Foresters to join our team to help us to continue to grow!

Deltic Timber Corporation is seeking an entry-level Forester to assist the District Forester in the daily care of a specific district by performing basic forestry functions including, but not limited to:

Job Description: 

 1. Cruise & evaluate timberland.

 2. Monitor newly planted trees for quality control.

 3. Check Summer plantations by ensuring newly planted trees are breaking dormancy.

 4. Check Fall plantations by ensuring the previous years planting survived the summer.

 5. Prepare sites for replanting by burning.

 6. Prepare logging jobs by determining stream management zones and other areas of interest.

 7. Collect data for site prep and release spraying of forest (GPS Polygons).

 8. Collect experimental plot data on specific tracts, which directly affect the health and growth rates of Deltic's forests.
