Forester / Technician (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

Primary responsibilities will be completing annual forest inventories with additional opportunities for forestry operations work including timber marking, logging supervision, reforestation, etc. Some out of town work, primarily inventory work, may be required.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. A minimum two year forestry degree is required. An additional 2 to 5 years experience in a similar field is preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the ability to traverse distances over one mile on uneven terrain; work in outdoor forested areas for extended periods in a variety of environmental conditions; occasionally carry 5 to 10 pounds of equipment over longer distances for extended periods of time.
