DWB has two immediate openings available in Burns Lake, B.C. Both positions are considered full time. The positions are primarily field based with a minor component of office related duties. Camp work is expected.
Preference will be given to candidates that have a degree or diploma in Forestry and have proven experience in cutblock and road layout and timber cruising. Other assigned duties will include riparian assessments, site plan data collection, GPS traversing, Level 1-2 road survey, and other related forestry duties. Registration with the Association of BC Forest Professionals is not mandatory however preference will be given to candidates that have their professional designation or are eligible for enrollment. Future advancement into Program Management will be considered based on the candidates experience.
