Cariboo Forest Consultants Ltd. (CFC) – Forest Technician Opportunity
CFC is a consulting forestry firm located in Quesnel, British Columbia. We have been in business since 1981 working primarily around central and northern British Columbia.
We are looking for an experienced Forest Technician to be primarily responsible for silviculture surveys including planting assessments, stocking and free growing surveys, brushing layout and Results data entries. Other possible duties include: layout of cut blocks and roads, traversing, operational cruising and mapping of field information, field resource assessments and report writing.
Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in, or graduated from a forestry program or related field.
You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to safely perform physically demanding field work and a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
Compensation
The successful candidate will be offered a benefits package while pay rates will be commensurate with experience.
