FOREST PRODUCTS TERRITORY MANAGER
Job Overview:
The Forest Products Territory Manager will provide primary contact to customers, marketing heavy equipment forest products and services to customer through the development and implementation of plans for growth in equipment, parts, and service sales. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and coordinating the implementation of a customer specific sales and marketing strategy.
Territory:
· British Columbia, Canada
· Parts of Alberta, Canada as required
· Heavy travel required including overnight stays

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge:
· Sound knowledge of products and services relating to the Forest Products market
· Maintain current knowledge of customers, economic environment and products
· Owning and operating cost analysis
· Understands and adheres to safety procedures
Education & Experience:
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
· 8 to 10 years previous sales and product support experience would be considered an asset
Note:
· Recent driver’s license is required
· Successful external candidates shall be subject to a criminal records check
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain effective client relationships to support the marketing and sales of equipment, products, and services
· Timely and effective research, communication, and response to customer regarding issues
· Overall responsibility for contract management and related reporting
· Prepare accurate and timely equipment and service forecast, pricing, market intelligence, call reports, and customer information
· Effectively collect and maintain customer information
· Must be able to take and respond to phone calls and emails after standard business hours
Accountability:
· Achieve targets for profitability, cost, and asset management
· Maintain sound long-term relationships with customers, internal departments and staff, and local dealers
· Understand the customer’s economic models and proactively develop timely deal strategies
· Direct company resources to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
Compensation
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 / AnnuallyExcellent company benefits provided including medical, paid vacation and holidays, and company car.
